We are very proud of our Infusion therapy service and our in-house pharmacy capabilities, which complements our outstanding team of IV nurses in the field. Unlike most other agencies, our nurses and our pharmacists work hand-in-hand under one roof. They are in constant communication with each other, the referring physician, and the patient, and provide both clinical and personal service that we frankly think is unmatched in the marketplace.
Compounding Services: Prescriptions for infusion drugs are compounded on the premises in our state-of-the-art clean room under the careful monitoring of our team of IV pharmacists.
Clinical Monitoring: Our pharmacists monitor patient drug therapies by reviewing medication profiles, laboratory results and nursing reports, and communicating with the physician as appropriate to ensure proper dosing for maximum effectiveness.
IV Nursing: the largest team in WNY of Registered Nurses Nationally Certified in Infusion Therapy (CRNI). Our nurses are also certified in Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC). Infusion nurses work with our pharmacists to administer antibiotics, chemotherapy, steroids, IVIG, hydration, TPN and a variety of other home infusion therapies. |
